MAN OF STEEL FACES THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE IN ALL-NEW DC UNIVERSE ANIMATED ORIGINAL MOVIE ALL-STAR SUPERMAN COMING FEB. I loved DC Universe’s work on Batman: Under the Red Hood, so I definitely look forward to seeing how this turned out. I had a few issues with the comic, as the dialog boxes were confusing at times and Bizzaro’s section was a chore to trudge through, but the overall narrative should find a nice home when animated. However, Morrison makes us feel for Superman because he is slowly dying and he knows it. There aren’t many times when you feel for Superman in the comic world the guy is the Man of Steel after all, and lacks great villains outside of Doomsday, Brainiac, and Lex Luthor.
