All plates and maps are present and placed as stipulated. Similar collation to the Constable printing, but without the ten panoramas. Binding tight, contents bright and unmarked. Bottom edge of text block of volume II scored, but with no significant affect to contents. Frontispiece tissue guard present in both volumes. Light discoloration to edges of boards, with some edge-rubbing. The paper spine labels are chipped, more so to volume I, but are quite legible. The blue-grey endpapers do not appear original, but consistent with the original endpapers. Both volumes bound in the same manner as the Constable first printing: blue-grey papered boards with linen spines. Two volume set in publisher's original binding.
